    Refuge Recovery

Refuge Recovery is a mindfulness-based approach to overcoming addiction, emphasizing the importance of community support and self-compassion. Central to its philosophy is the idea that recovery is a journey of self-discovery, where individuals learn to understand and embrace their complexities. By integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Refuge Recovery enhances its effectiveness, encouraging individuals to explore and heal their internal “parts” that may drive addiction behaviors.

Together, Refuge Recovery, a harm reduction approach, enriched by IFS principles, offer a compassionate and holistic pathway for those seeking freedom from addition, empowering them to honor their unique journeys towards recovery. Prioritizing safety and well-being, recognizing abstinence is not the only path to healing.

Co-facilitated by Amber Bishop, MA, CADC and Stephanie Julia-Suriano, Yoga and Integration Therapist (CADC in progress) Tuesdays 7:15 - 8:30 pm Group is limited to 18 participants
